Its nice how you can add your own maps, since no one will probably ever make an app for the Madison Metro system.

This app works great at its main purpose: downloading and displaying maps. Ive not encountered the problems others commented on, but little things like the "Maps" box being left stranded in the middle of the screen after dismissing the keyboard and not using a progress bar for showing downloading and processing feedback are minor nits. If youre going anyplace that has a subway this is a great app to take along.

Worked as advertised. The maps arent really included, you download the ones you need. Numerous cities are listed in the app, all you do is select them and they download to your iPad. If the city isnt listed, you can download from the internet if you have the web address. Havent found any bugs so far.

This app is WAY better than any of the earlier transit map apps for iPhone -- especially the well-known ones that came out in 2008. Works fantastically well on iPhone 4. Thanks for making this awesome app free!

How did this app pass quality control. It does not do anything except store maps.

I dont see what there is to complain about. It downloads maps and other files if you have the URL and views them. What else would you expect?

Will load any single-page or first page of a larger PDF document. Love the icon design, it stands out on my screen so I use the App constantly. Of all the apps Ive downloaded onto my iPod Touch, its in my Top 5. Although, I left off a 5-star rating because I would love to see the "Maps +" menu move back to the bottom like it is shown in the current Screenshots. Since the last update it moved to top of the screen. :o/

I dont think that this app can help me. The standart map is not good. Its not useful for the offline orientation.

This app loads the first page of any PDF document. It renders quickly enough on iPhone 4. Problem 1. It only renders the first page of the document. Not all maps are single page documents, you know. Problem 2. The background (the area outside the document) has distracting grid pattern, which makes the app unfinished. I prefer solid color, perhaps white, black, or gray. Problem 3. The user interface is not intuitive. Why cant I add a map from the list view, for example, where I am meant to manage the maps? The plus sign on the map view where i am meant to look at the map makes very little sense. I deducted one star for problem 1, and half each for 2 and 3, hence 3 stars. Thank you for a great product and job well done. I wish the first problem is resolved in future updates, so I can start using this app for all my map needs.

+ This is a wonderful app for allowing us to contain all of our transit maps (and in effect schedules as well, since we can add any image we want ideally) in one place, instead of constantly having to switch back and forth from one app to the next, especially in the SF area where we have 7 different major transit companies! However, what still needs work: - The app needs to be able to render more than one page of a pdf. Currently I have some schedule pdfs that only show me the "front page" of the booklet and no other pages with the actual fare, schedule, or map information. - The app allows me to continue to browse and download new maps when the app is processing one that just finished downloading. But this isnt failsafe and the app usually quits on me when doing this. - The app seems to want to center a pdf at will and for some pdf pages that are not the standard size, the app wont let me navigate to the edges of the pdf. It will "bounce" me back to the center of the pdf. Not good. I cant view critical map and schedule info! - Also the new update says here that you can add pdfs from other apps.... but how? This is not self-explanatory. All in all a nice concept, but the app still needs some work. Fix the kinks and Ill enjoy it much more.

I didnt expect much when I downloaded this but I completely love it. I now have all train bus and metro schedules I need and no more purse full of papers. Thanks. P.s. If you are looking to add new cooler features make a way to write on the maps. The small iPhone size makes it difficult to find things so highliting would help a ton.

I use this for CTA and Metra maps in Chicago and it works perfectly and fast . The links to download new maps were a nice surprise as well.

Great app for iPad! Now I can keep all of my metro/subway maps in one place for easy access when I travel.

I feel this is a fantastic app and its free! Cant say enough about it and Ive had this app since it first came out. Ive had many subway apps, some free some paid; this is still the best AND no need for network access. And lastly, it updates the NYC subway map faster than any other (there was a new transfer station here in Brooklyn and they were the first to show it)! Best! Git it!

Great app for grabbing PDF maps and storing them on your iPod, especially for those times youre off grid and cant pick up a wireless signal. Thanks for developing this!

Not as many maps available as i need, could use improvement on image quality

Excellent map viewer for subway and bus systems in New York City for both my iPod Touch and iPad. Built in links to maps or transit agency websites.

This app does exactly what the paid, slightly more polished apps do. It stores all your mass transit images/pdfs in one place and even gives you a handy dandy web site with links to popular maps. If you downloaded this and it wasnt what you wanted, I cant imagine how high your expectations are. And its free!

Use this to get around big cities. It works well and it is free.
